I just installed my kool shot intake on my 02 4.7liter ram. The intake made my magnoflow exhaust louder which I loved. Also when I accelerate hard my truck doesn't hesitate no more. I did notice the mpg difference. During the installation there was no problem and was quick and easy. All around I think 360 intakez are great. For me it was a decision between choosing a 360 intake and one of those companies on ebay,(since I wanted my engine breathing easier and getting a little more mpg and hp). Just for the record I have the K&N drop in filter, and I only ordered the intake and hardware.

 

You sure it made the exhaust louder? Sometimes people confuse the new intake noise with extra exhaust.... either way, it sounds cool!

 

A picture of your new intake would be great to see.

 

Oh yeah, the intake got some noise going, but with more air flow rushing in it will give the exhaust a louder tone.

I am getting the power shot with the "Jet Hot" type 1600 degree ceramic coating, both the heat shield and tube will be coated, I will let you know how the install goes... I will take pics too. Joe at 360 air intakez has provided the best customer service I have ever experienced.

 

how much of a gain in mpg did you achieve? I am still having a hard time decide between 360, k&n and some others, maybe your results will convince me

 

Dont do a K&N, from everyone I have ever heard that has installed a K&N, they have lost power, per the dyno, and MPG... I have not gotten my 360 CAI installed yet but I will let everyone know when I do.

plus the other one i had w/ a plastic TB hat.....i'll get some pics up...

lets just say the filter is touching the passenger side inner fender...
