Default 2006 Stratus SXT - Air Conditioning Issue

Hello,

I have a question regarding my 2006 Dodge Stratus SXT. It appears that my air conditioning system will only work when the fan is turned up all the way. It doesn't matter what function I'm trying to use (A/C, defrost, etc). Any idea as to what might cause this? Thanks for your help.

i have a 2005 dodge stratus SXT and my heating/air conditioning only works on level 3 and 4. This just started 2 days ago. I have not had any service done except an oil change 2 months ago

I am assuming that you mean the heater-A/C blower motor only cuts on when you turn the dash switch to the high position in which case you need to replace the blower motor resistor. This is a common problem with these cars and my 04 did the same thing.

the blower only works on level 3 and 4. 1 and 2 produce no heat/air conditioning. do you know how much a blower motor resistor would cost to have installed?

Turned out to be the blower motor resistor. It was only $17 from my local Dodge dealership, and it was easy to install. Thanks everyone!
