All in good time, at this point I more interested in seeing how your truck is turning out. While I'm here I have to live through the actions of others, which isn't all bad. Usually helps me put my plan together for when I start up again. The basic plan is to install LT's, heads and cam. So, between now and then all I have to do is fill in the details. Pls, keep us up to date on your project. Great fun..

Hey fellow Forgottens. Pic of my new stance from the rear, HD Springs, 4+1, w/shackles and rancho Shocks (Giving 2" more Lift Rear to go with 2 " Leveling Kit already upfront) Finished with custom tailpipes High and out the Back (Mopar old school look IMO). Next is Gears and LSD (By end Nov) and a couple more mods/upgrades that will be visable from the rear. The Cam is on hold till I get the time to do it, have all the Spl Tools and ancilleries required (will be my second install).

I have also removed 12 pieces of chrome and am starting over with a new look.

 

Looking good, I like the new look. I think it is going to be very impressive when you get it all together.

 

Hey, Just checkin in! Thanks Greg, Think I might put in the Crazy Spartan this weekend as i got 4 days off. Got alot of new parts to install as well.

I was thinkin of changin waterpump while I'm at it but ouch $165 bucks but comes with new Pulley and maybe large hose clamp??

Will try and post up some pics.

Good luck and let us know how it goes. I'm really interested in how that cam runs. As for the water pump, if it is in good shape I would just throw it in a bucket of water and re-install it. Don't let it dry out...

 

I got the new Pump anyhow as with 230,000 Km of Mileage it won't hurt!

Cam is in and let me say it runs GREAT and pulls the Truck harder and longer than with the 6.1 which now I can say is Crappy for a QC, Maybe in a SC with Long-Tube headers, but for all the trouble of doing a Cam install you may as well get it right the first time, as it is alot of work for one man!

Did a 200Km Highway trip today for a check-up at my new Doctors (Rural EH!) since I am a Civilian now, anyways it was a two laner with 60 mph limit and alot of tractor trailers, don't like using 2nd prime but today what the hell, the truck performed flawless and the TC was hittin hard and when I passed those semi's she got close to 100 MPH when shifting back in Top gear which is slightly higher than before but all in all the truck jumps from A to B in a Hurry now, and has got me wonderin if 4:56 will be too much so that is my delema, 4:10's or 4:56 so remember I love to drive 80 MPH on the 4 Laners with 3:55's. Anyhow long post and we will discuss gears in the next few weeks as Nov is approaching fast, and PS the DSP is still on the Fall list too!

Congrats on the posts. Man that is great the new cam is running sweet. Do you have a spec sheet for the cam? They don't give much details online. LSA? I waiting for some data logging..... well done!

Greg it Comes with a Cam Card. 114 is the LSA which works best with the SC 3865 as suggested by Stu at Inertia for our 03's!
