I own a 97 v10 8.0L magnum 6" lift w/toyo 35x12.50x18 I have completely rebuilt the front end from power steering gear box, pitman arm, track bar, inner and outter tie rods, ball joints wheel hub assemblies,,new steering stabilizer, front drive line, sway bar, link rod ends w/heim joints, and a steering support bracket had it alligned but still it wants to pull a little.I am going to replace suspension control arms and the little u-joints in the steering column not sure what more can be done to solve this any ideas?
Did you replace the gear box with a factory unit? They are notoriously crappy.

I'm still running all original factory equipment including steering box except clutch fan, front bumper, grill, radiator and air conditioner thingie in the grill from a fender bender in my '99 Dodge V-10, bought new and no problems of any kind. Runs like a raped ape. Replaced plugs & plug wires @ 56,000 miles (afterwards found a bad plug wire on #5 plug right bank. Didn't need the change after all) I'm still running on that second spark plug set. I saved the orginal plugs and when these go bad, I'll clean & gap the old ones and put them back in.

Factory T-stat is 190 or 195 if I remember correctly. But I don't like to get the engine hot when towing up the big inclines during summer so i dropped in a 180 hi-flow T-stat. Yes if it's too cold the O2 sensors dump the fuel to warm it up, thats were you get open versus closed loop. At 180 I don't think I've had any issues, but I would not go cooler then 180 peroiod, besides the heater doesn't work all that great without the higher factory temp.
Mine has always pulled slightly to the right from the crown of the road and these things being a brick going down the road. Control arm bushings might help.
I run normal factory parts, and change my plugs every 15k-20k with factory cheap plugs. My truck fires up every time regardless if it's -20 F outside but I use Mobil One Fully Synthetic 10-30. Oil is changed at 5k intervals or yearly with a Purilator filter. All my fluids are Fully Synthetic. ATF+4 is Valvoline Fully Synthetic. Transmission has Mobil One Fully Synthetic. Fully Synthetic lubricants will help your engine start in cold weather. As for the Power Steering Fluid, Mine is very old, but my box is worn out so I bought a pump rebuild kit and am going to buy a steering gear rebuild kit and rebuild the whole thing. I'm sure the old fluid is to blame for my steering issues when it's cold outside.
Actually test drove a new Cummins on Saturday, but when I buy one it will stay parked in the garage as I dirve my V10 to it's grave when ever that might happen.

I'm Back. This time with another '96 Ram2500V104x4
Got this great deal last week. Couldn't pass it up. The truck has 120k. But if you looked at it (I mean, really looked at it up close, the engine bay, interior, exterior), it appeared to have 30k tops.
The truck spent most of its adult life in Arizona. Absolutely no rust. Just amazing how Arizona can preserve a car/truck there. I can still see the stamped painted number on the leafsprings!!! The truck is in just immaculate condition. Whoever the owner was, he/she must have barely driven it. And when they did it was strictly for cross country vacations.
I will try and post a photo of her.
