I gave up ///$100 for a judged show , where the judge asked "What type of primer did you use on your hood" [it's carbon fiber] pretty sure he had no clue at what he was seeing

yuck...i cant stand the "Street rod crowd". a bunch of big blocks, blowers, and cross breeding on dyno and trailer queens...lance, you need to come see the real cars.

we will be there the whole weekend...im not sure which car or cars i will have there yet.

Actually most street rods are small blocks with no blowers ALthough they are finally warming up to fuel injection.

Yeah, but all '48 and earlier cars? Wouldnt you much rather go to a Mopar show? You have 3?

No. The work, and in some cases ingenuity, that goes into these rods are far more impressive. I can learn a lot there in just a few hours. I am not a "dodge guy" I am a car guy.

ive been to street rod shows, but they always seem to be a bunch of dyno queens at best. around here the blower cars are popular in those pre-muscle car era cars...and i lump anything from the 50s back into that genre.

i really dont know much about that era of vehicle, as ive never really gotten into them. i do see an awful lot of cross breeding, and i have dont have much interest in seeing those. i fond that they "All look the same", but thats probably because i dont follow that era much.
