O.K. I spoke with Kathy and she said that the up stairs (2nd floor) of the has been rented out both friday and saturday night for parties. But they probably wont be arriving till later in the day though. We can use the lot as long as there is room, as the people comming for the party have priority over us. But I figure we'll only be there from noon till 2 or 3 anyway. well at least I'll be there around noon, y'all can show up when ya want. just let me know.

And if y'all need better directions once you get into Pontiac you can give me a call on my cell. the number is 248-798-5979.

 

Noon at Rumors in Pontiac is fine with me. Let me know what the final decision is, and count me in.

I think this may be the final decision. Not much time to come up with anything else.
Although I do admit, DF MI Meet and the cruise in one day is going to be better than either by themselves.

I dont think we are, at least not this time. its a posibility that we might still have one at a later date, but we can discuss that saturday.

I dont think your own should bring beer with you. for 2 reasons...

1. Its the cruise, cops will be out and about in full force. I went down woodward monday and there is already some people cuising, and I was seeing a cop at least every mile or two.
Beer+high police presence=[sm=badidea.gif] atleast if it is the car with you.

2. Rumors is a bar. we should be perfectly capable getting some brews there before and afterward. And besides Kathy (the manager) is being kind enough to let us use her bar and parking lot for free, so bringing your own beer and drinking it in the parking is pushing it a little bit. Not to mention the fact that its illegal to do so[sm=forgetit.gif]

 

"I see" said the blind carpenter, as he picked up his hammer and saw. I was under the impression that the bar was closed at the time we would be there. If it will be open, I will indulge myself legally. I understand, the manager is your friend and I wouldn't want some beer swillin' yahoo ruining something like that for me either. My wife will be doing the driving once the libation comsumption begins, so no need for concern about the authorities. I am really looking forward to meeting you guys (and gals), I love making new friends. Should I have the Mrs. make something fattening?
