Actually having them both on the same day could be a good thing. Stoney Crrek will just turn into our stageing point for the cruise. And if we eat lunch there it would probably be cheeper than at the cruise.

Amanda do you have any DF banner/stickers around? If so we could all meet at stoney creek have lunch/brunch, slap some stickers on our rides and have a DF convoy through the cruise. maybe we could even do some recruiting!

thus turning two great events into 1 super one.

As for the time thing, its partialy my fault. I did a pole for the date and place but forgot about time. If this thing falls apart, its all on me not you Amanda.

 

I can't give away that many decals. I've barely made anything on this $800 machine I have sitting here. LOL! But I can make them and bring them.

I don't mean to be the party pooper... but I don't think convoying a bunch of people to the cruise is smart. I go, park and then walk around to do all the activities... including the Dodge Tent... LOL! I'm not going to cruise, I do that later at night. But I wouldn't want to park The Lady and leave her... I'd go with someone else, then leave and come back and get my Ram and then head down when it's more open to cruising... so doing it the way you suggested wouldn't work for me. Plus I need to be home from about 4 to 6pm on Sat.

Another thing is the weather, it's a bit early to get a good forecast, but I'm seeing that it's occassional showers on Sat. Yuck. LOL!

More thoughts? Should we posepone until sometime in Sept perhaps? Or no? It seems only 4 people are interested for this Sat...

well woodward does turn into a parkinglot....does that count?

 

I'll deffinately be down at woodward that day, might stop by the DF meet if :
1. it is still going on 2. if i get up early enough

Or else we could meet somewhere on / by woodward... gratiot, hall, etc.

 

I've never been anywhere near the woodward cruise...been kinda hesitant..I may try but not sure yet. I'm going to the Armada Fair tonight to see Deirks Bently and see if I can get my first country singer autograph on either my violin or one of my sheet music books!

Alright boys and girls. I have a new idea/plan/option.
We can all meet in the parking lot of Rumors Bar and Grill.
It is on the corner of Auburn and Woodward in Pontiac.
I can talk with the lady that runs it and see if she dosn't mind
letting us use her lot for a while. Usuall she dosn't let people park
there at all, but sense I'm a regular and she knows me pretty well,
she'll probably let us. This would accomplish 2 things; 1) free parking lot
2) located on woodward. So that if need be we don't all have to take our
vehicles in the cruise, some of us can ride with others.
Let me know what you think.
