i have been racing many times with my friend who just bought a new evo
well guess what !!
1st gear he's one car in front of me(just because it's a 4x4)
2nd gear about pretty even
3rd gear i start to come back seriously on him
4th gear i'm passing him with a good smile on my face
5th gear i have a hard time seeing him in my mirror
conclusion !
0 to 60 the evo has the advantage because it's 4x4
but that's it !!
after that the srt engine runs much stronger than the evo
don't forget the srt-4 is 400 hundred pounds less
and it's 2 wheel drive, that means more hp at the wheels
and it's 2.4 liter
and my car is stock don't forget!!!!!!

so next time you're next to an evo don't panic
just make sure you do the shifting fast enough and at the right rpm!
and go all the way to 120,130,140 mph
but make sure you have enough road to stop that monster!!

Okay....

 

The EVO will win straight through the 1/4 mile due to it's AWD launch, so unless he cannot drive it that well he should have you until at least 120 MPH.

 

but in a roll-off situation the srt-4 will definitely win ourt in the long run.

I have rolled a few at around 75 mph and they generally(if stock) lose by 105.

 

i am preparing a short movie about those small races
i am not ready yet because i need to shoot a couple of races to make something good
i just want to make sure this movie will be seen by everyone who wants to race a srt-4
