Depending on what supporting mods u have, you can take a Z06 with the 50 trim. No I'm not talking about the 650 hp Z06.

z06's do low 11's/high 10's stock. no basic bolt on50 trim is near that. most are lucky to break high 11's. a z06 will kick a 50 trim's *** (assuming that the z06 owner has half a clue how to drive).

Well the 08 base corvette has a new engine the LS3 putting 430HP and 436HP if you get the optional exhaust system. And I have seen a very of them with good driver hit low 12's and one guy hit a 12flat thats why I kind of made a big deal that my buddies S3 srt-4 hung with one on the highway, good thing the srt is 250pounds lighter then the vette

We're talking about the C6 Z06. It runs 11.5 in the 1/4 according to Motor Trend. I've never heard of a stock C6 Z06 running high 10s low 11s. I'm going to assume you're talking about a stock Z06 running that with slicks. From a dead stop, it'll be the Z06. From a roll, a 50 trim with some good supporting mods can take a Z06. I've run an 02 ish Z06. My buddy who had the car before me said he pulled on the C6 Z06 by about a car to a car and a half. Our cars are light.
I know of a SRT-4 with a 50 trim setup that ran 11.233@128.432 with slicks with a stock head and motor. The 50 with good supporting mods have more potential than that^^^.

i have to find the video, but there's a guy in a bone stock z06 with a set of dr's that did a 10.9 in her. most drivers with half a clue can pull a low 11 out of them. my grandmother can drive faster than motor trend's test drivers. on slicks yes a 50 trim CAN pull a good time, most however don't. and you're comparing a car on street tires to one on slicks, not quite the same thing. a z06 with a good driver on slicks will pull a 10s with no problems.

Here you are PSI Chick. The stock record for a C6 Z06 with drag radials he runs a 10.85 at 130mph, and I think I saw another video of the guy running a 10.9 and sayed he shifted into 4th 450RPM's to early and he thought he maybe could have run a 10.80 ENJOY!

LOL.

I know it's a wrap in the 1/4 hands down to the Z06. I was mainly talking about racing from a roll. I just tapped on the 1/4 mile times b/c u said they'd be lucky to hit low 12s, high 11s. I wasn't sure if you were talking about the 10.8 with DRs. I didn't compare the 2 in the 1/4. I just compared them from a roll.
If only the SRT-4 were rwd.[:'(]

I dont know but somethings fishy over at Chevrolet. My buddy has a mildly built 72 Goat and recently ran against one of the supposed 436 HP Vettes. On the street, he won 3 outta 4, the only one he lost was from a higher mph roll and the Vette got a bit of a jump. His goat has run a best of 12.4 at around 110 on none too large DR's.

I'm thinking the average Joe in a Vette is going to be about a mid 12 car.

Could be a case of a non driver in the Vette though. IDK.
