i am looking to upgrade to bigger turbo. i have the mopar stage 2 kit and am looking for some input from agp 50 trim onwers and from mopar stage 3 owners. benefits and draw backs on either system. thanks
The Mopar Stage 3 is nice because it's a kit that you don't have to dyno tune. Getting your car set up for a 50 trim turbo is going to be more work.
The 50 trim spools up quick.
That's going to vary greatly.... depending on what supporting mods you are running. And remember..... more power and torque doesn't mean it will go down the track the fastest. The 50 Trim turbo has more power potential, however.
as said, it all depends. mopar kits are a little more 'plug-and-play' friendly. what are your goals and how much do you enjoy tuning and playing around
im not sure ive never gotten that far, im only 18 this is my second car I have a prelude that I turboed but havent gotten to tuning it and since i got my srt i just put it off to the side, what have you heard about the Hahn racecraft 16g and 20g kits? good? bad?
and as far as goals i havent really set any I think i wanna run 11-12 but still be able to cruise around the streets with little to no lag, any ideas on kits or other parts
both kits are good for the streets and will get the times that you want (assuming driver mod). if you want something with very little lag, then the mopar s3, the agp s3 delta, or the dbb 50 are the best turbos for you.
I say go with the stage 3, itsLess trouble then the 50trim. But also I suggest geting the toys with it as well which at the push of a button get you another 30-40HP. My buddies S3 went toe to toe with a brand new 08 vette. He has dyno'd the car in HO mode and made 369HP.
