I just put in my turboxs manual boost controller and i keep throwing this code. im only spiking at 17.5 lbs of boost. how can i fix this??

 

You positive? Maybe thats where the PCM retard too...

 

yea i have a skan tool and the code comes up as "engine overboost" i turned down to 15 lbs and still throw that code so now im at 13 with no code, but i really want to go back above 17. you understand

 

may have to get stg 1 to get it to stop kicking that code.

 

Don't you need an aftermarket wastegate to make a boost controller worthwhile?

Get a Stage 1.

 

I think with the stock PCM anything over 16 psi will throw the overboost code.

 

listen to people....on s0 you will throw over boost codes, s1 is the fix. just get one and you'll be fine!

 

whats the s1, where can i get it and how much is it. PSI chick, how many lbs r u running? also dose the s1 void warranty?

 

pretty much everything youve done so far would void the warranty but the stage 1 would be more reliable. it boosts up to 17 psi from what ive heard, and it costs 400 dollers and you can get it at any dodge dealership modernperformance.com and theres one other good one psi would know the name of it.

 

call jeff at moparsupercenter, he'll take care of you! or you can try ebay or srtforums and look for a used one, they go for about 220 used. new they're like 350.

i'm running 24 psi now, but i'm running s3.
