Newb looking into car and modding
alright well i am still waiting on my exhaust to come, hopefully it will be here sooon! i am putting in an order for prothane motor mounts (race) and mopar sts w/ booger bushings. hopefulllllllly with everything added and put on i can throw out a high 12!!!!

hey, just out of curiosity here, but SRT4DRIVER... you seem to have this big love jones for getting your car into the 12's??? in fact, the last few posts have been all about that... what gives?? why the 12's?? who has the low 13 sec. you HAVE to beat
on that note, when you dip into the 12's, aren't you supposed to have a cage in your car if you are running "legally" at the race track??? I know there is a value that if you drop below (for time) you are "supposed" to have a cage...

Mine is my daily driver and I went with the race inserts. With the top race insert in it is extremely mild and only noticed on acceleration, it grabs alot better and goes with less softness, and it transmits vibration throught the rest of the car on start up, which nis very little. I have yet to put in my lower insert, but I've heard that it doesn't worsen it anymore than just the upper one.
i want 12s bc my friends bet big on races. while i dunno if i am an extraordinary driver i know or at least think i have a little bit of skills. one of my friends wants to race once i get all my mods done. he has a supercharged mustang w/ exhaust and intake.
i guess scratch the idea of slicks
?!?! ne ways, should i add in some hard pipes or something? what else could i add for under $300 to help get some more power outta my car? or should i get a set of goldline springs to help it sit lower? thats a whole new topic for me i dont quite understand it all. please help me out...once again.
