You'll enjoy the Stage 1....the exhaust is noiser when you let off the gas, the boost starts earlier and you get more of it resulting in a "whoosh" sound of air followed by the "whistle" of the turbo (kinda reminds you of a jet), launches are more powerful and the BOV is more pronounced. It's great sound entertainment while you drive the car in addition to giving you more power!

You'll recieve some serious gains with those bolt-ons. But, like i've experience, mentioned b4, you'll lose a little low-en tq and recieve it on the mid-high end....

Yep, and that will just help you out with launching with less wheel spin.

Stage 1 probably won't get you into the high 12's, but low 13s are no problem. You can always opt for Stage 2......

Yes, motor mounts will reduce the wheel hop. But as was said before, that torgue/force has to go SOMEWHERE.....

I know of several Stage 1 equipped SRT-4's that are in the 12's with a few other bolt-ons, like the exhaust, CAI, WGA, etc.

Just get a set of motor mount inserts, cat-back or turbo back exhaust, CAI, STS and at least Stage 1 and as long as you can launch it properly, you should be very solidly in the 12's.

You will find most of the 12 second Stage 1 SRT-4's on the srtforums.com. The Mopar STS w/booger bushings is a great mod. I myself prefer the K & N Typhoon CAI, but the Injen short ram will still be a little better than stock. Since the short ram intakes draw in hot under hood air they are less efficient and effective than the factory set up that draws air in from outside the engine compartment, but it will flow more air than stock since it is larger and smoother. A great cheap and easy mod that will make you quicker in the 1/4 mile is a set of motor mount inserts, you can get the Prothane race inserts for only $23.99 for the pair.
