i helped stu put his engine back together...and the suspension...but it was in a garage...not in his front yard, up on blocks. He races it too...

so what's your point? you seem to hate mustangs so much, and i wonder what the reason for that is.
you have yet to see a n/a mustang run under 12s. maybe that's because most mustang owners don't care about running 12's on a n/a motor. mustangs are all about superchargers really, turbos are kind of the new thing, and they are becoming more common. but it's all about forced induction on a mustang, not n/a. i have seen a n/a mustang run 12s....only because the owner wanted to see what the engine could do before putting on a supercharger. mustangs don't usually run n/a, and they could care less about it either. if you want n/a, stick with hondas (which you seem to like to refer to anyway), they seem to like that more than the domestic crowd.
i think the reason that you're so disappointed with mustangs is because they don't care about and run in the classes that you are interested in. fine. there's nothing wrong with that. but you don't have the right to bash them completly just because the mustang scene doesn't follow your interests. i personally don't care about the import scene, but if i see a civic running 12's i give it the respect it deserves. and if you see a mustang running 12's on street tires, you should give it respect too. a fast car is a fast car, even if you don't like the badges on it.
i have seen plently of head changed on mustangs done in no time at all, even parked on the side of the road if necessary. just because you can't do it don't hate on the people who can.

simmer down psichick..i wasnt aiming that at you...the only reason i dont like mustangs is because, as i said, every mustang owner thinks that "mustangs are the only cool or fast car EVER made"...i have friends that own them, and ive even driven a cobra that has impressed me, but you have to admit, stangs like yours arent an everyday thing...although the TT 5.0 i saw had a very unique sound to it. and my racing class is mostly mustangs/f-bodies...i just dont liek them, but i do have an appreciation for people who do real mods to them, and run fast.
im just anti ford...sorry..
