Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Wanted, for sale

I'm in the market to buy a very nice Ramcharger or Trailduster (no more projects in my life), but I don't see a for sale section for these. I did see the used cars section, but no option for a search of these models. Am I just missing it? Thanks.

Classifieds are pretty generic here. If it's for sale/wanted, it goes in there. Need 25 posts to post there though. Should be able to search JUST that forum for Ramcharger, and get the results you are looking for. (if there are any.....) Most of them that I have seen for sale, (not here, ebay, etc.) run close to five digits in price for a good condition unit. They are getting harder to find.

Thanks, I expect to pay somewhere in the 20's. I'll keep looking.

EBay, Autotrader, and various other venues would be your best bet.

Where are you located. I see some for sale from time to time but if they are a million miles from you, it's a waste of time.

Not necessarily.... given the amount he has budgeted for this, a plane ticket, or shipping, would be a drop in the bucket.

I agree distance is a problem. I'm in East Texas, so its somewhat central. I had an inspector check one out that was in Los Angeles, but turned out to be nothing like it was advertised as. Mecum has an auction in June, and there are 3 there. A couple look nice. I'll keep looking.

I agree that shipping isn't a real problem, but seeing them is. I can't fly to see all the ones that look nice, nor can I send an inspector to check them out as well. Too much money. Pictures can be very deceiving, and I absolutely don't want another project. My back insists on it. Something will pop up along the line.

If you find one you are interested in, see if there isn't a forum member in the area that will go have a look.
