I recently bought my 1998 2500 v10 in feb, and at 121000 on the clock, it still can spin the Mickey thompsons in a parking lot with total ease. Best truck my family has ever owned for towing and hauling. I made a 300 mile round trip in the truck and the powertrain never skipped a beat. The truck also has performance headers, exhaust, and no cats (no emissions here in iowa) so it sounds amazing. As long as it has been well maintained, that is an engine that will never disappoint.

cant deny that one, but it's better than multiple new lift pumps on a cummins. I don't drive it unless I need to haul or tow. Gas here is nearing $3/gal, so I am probably going to get a k&n air filter and see how much that does. Depending on how I drive ,i avg. Anywhere from 10-13.5 highway. The headers probably help on that.
