I did not know that aftermarket HIDs were illegal. I'm surprised that you can sell them without running afoul of Johnny Law...
You can until you get caught. And he will be.

Just got my light in today, and installed. I got the 6000k for my foglights. Install was easy, I did have to reverse the polarity, no biggie it only took about 10 minutes (8 of the minutes figuring out where to mount the box) a side. Having HID's in the fogs makes a huge difference, more than I thought they would. It throws a lot more to the sides. Very nice.

You make a very good point. I suppose as long as you don't get ticketed, it's no more harmful than exceeding the spped limit by a few miles per hour. Anybody have problems with folks flashing them? No complaints about blinding oncoming traffic?

So for those who have bought and installed these, are they really that much better than SilverStars?

I still like my FM radio regardless, so will probably just wait.

Does anyone know if these will work in a 2010 with quad lights? Will I need resistors or a harness?

Hi,

Yes these will work, all you need to do is request for special capacitors for your low and high beams, fogs don't need the capacitors. Thanks~
