In the very brief YouTube description, it says that Sal Patel’s twin-turbo Viper is the first IRS car to get into the 6s. And while I can’t vouch for that claim, I can say that this video is pretty impressive. hit the jump to watch this vicious snake run 6.98 at 207mph.

SRT is gearing up to unleash the Viper at ALMS later this season, but first it’s got to be put through it’s paces. Luckily, they taped it’s first test run at the Carolina Motorsports park. Trust me. It sounds and looks as good as you think it does.
