Help me source 96 5.2 auto engine harness?
Been looking daily for a while now… can’t seem to find this harness anywhere. Is there any interchangeable part #’s?

I’ve already repaired it upwards of 4x to fix issues, including splicing in new PCM connectors, then I find corrosion or shorts somewhere else. Literally done putting the time into it.
You could always make your own else it's the scrap heap.

I had multiple problems with the harness on my 95, 5.2. I ended up replacing about 1/3 of the harness. But, it turns out my major problem was that every time I used my multimeter for testing, I was stretching out the female pins on the 60 wire PCM connector. I pulled out each pin and either squeezed it tight again or replaced it. No problems since then. I looked for a replacement harness too but couldn’t find one.

No, I just pressed the end of my multimeter into the female pin of the connector. I pulled the pins out one at a time when I fixed the connector. After that I got a kit of pins for back probing. Back probing is much easier.
I guess I’m curious as to how you removed the female terminal from the connector without breaking the flimsy little plastic tab that holds the terminal inside the connector. I ask because I had to replace my connector a few years ago because of my lack of knowledge. I completely destroyed the connector trying to remove the terminals. I learned on the replacement and made my own “tools” to keep from busting those little holding tabs.

A while back, I was getting some parts from a 95 at Pick and Pull. I happened to glance at the PCM connector and thought it might come in handy. I think they charged me five bucks. So when I started working on my wiring harness, I practiced on the spare connector first. After carefully prying off the red plastic bracket that holds the pins in place, I became pretty adept at gently removing the female pins with tiny screwdrivers. I did break the red plastic bracket in a couple places. But, I had a spare and I super glued the broken back together. It was a very tedious job removing those 55 or so pins. I had the harness on a workbench with the connector clamped so it wouldn’t move. I had really good lighting too.
I looked for a long time for replacement female pins. I could not find them anywhere. I would have tried Fry’s but we don’t have one here. I would think a big electrical supply house would stock them, but I couldn’t track them down.
