Eh, I wouldn't count on it, alignments are usually needed after any front end or susspension work is done. The thing that will kill your tires the fastest is the toe angle, then camber, then caster. A combo of an un aligned toe and camber will wreck your tires quickly, they will be just erasers on the road.

18 to be exact but its always better to have more than not enough

7x Upper shackles each side. 3 on one side 2 on another on the inside, 2 on the outside.
2x for the lower bolts and nuts on each side. (besides the one I forgot but it was late at night when I did this lol)

Elaborate. I can't afford to screw this up.

if you lift the front end by cranking the T-bars an alignment is 100% necessary unless you want your tires to wear out prematurely, its as simple as that

MoparMan is what we call an over-achiever haha, nothing wrong with that though.

The lift looks good dodgeguy, awesome pictures of the results too.

Don't sweat it moparman, this is easier than you think.

I am an over achiever only when it has anything to do with my ride lol. It's my Daily Driver and I can't afford to screw up the suspension because I forgot a washer.

In my second pic. I forgot a washer on the top bolt. Too lazy to fix it atm. I haven't gotten an alignment and I'm about to drive 700 miles tomorrow(moving back to TN ) She drives fine though. Was pretty easy to do and this was my first time doing a lift. I only cranked my Torsion bars 5 Full turns. Still have to measure the Tire to fender space to see if everything is equal.

So you meant to use 3 washers on each side on the top, correct? Which would put you at your claimed 20 washers.

I used 7 Total on the top on each side. 2 on the outside of the shackle. and 5 on the inside. I couldn't get 6 to fit. So 2 on one side of the inner and 3 on the other side of the inner. The one I forgot to use was counted as if I put one there.

Yes, you need an alignment on the front end.

98dodgeguy i have them same shackles as you from autozone. i didnt put any washers on mine? and from your pictures i dont see where you snuck in some odd 18 washers.

18 flat washers are damn near 1.5 inches thick if not thicker. so i'm really confused now.

either my shackles are put on wrong or people are using un-necessary washers on the top end. it does narrow on the top end of the shackle but its a perfect squeeze of the bolt through the top end of our shackles. plus theres no side to side moving on the bottom so no washers are needed?

I'm lost as to what the point of the washers would be?
