Everything you all are saying about mine would definetly apply to this whack durango on 37's w/no lift.

I spent some time last night looking at various lifts & tire combos. Plenty of them make mine look downright factory by comparison.

weather has not been co-operating for pics but will have t/s shackle pics up soon.

Nevermind on my assessments.

We try to provide info to those that want to keep their D as pristine and long lived as possible. While there is nothing wrong with rough usage, and hell it may be a blast, all diag bets are off because info most won't apply. No need for fog light details on that D for example. LOL.

That D is trashed for road but perfect for off road it looks (except it needs a lift.) Looks like that day was fun, if not damaging.

Indy, I understand your viewpoint. you're just more conservative than I am. I don't mean politically, nor do I mean that as an insult.

I also hope that you inferring my "D" will suffer at my hands is not meant to be an insult.

In fact My "D" would argue that fact most vehemently. First this truck would have gone to the cash for clunkers program had I not accepted it, yes accepted it. cost me not a dime up front. that said, I have put over a grand into her this month. it has had it's tranny serviced for the first time ever, it has had a new rear seal, valve cover gaskets, timing chain, full major service & new tires. the tires it came with, one could see the air.

next month it gets a whole new suspension, polly bushings ball joints, hubs, brakes, the works. My cost in parts is over 800 bucks. If a body had to include labor charges , the work shes gets in the first two months would be close to four grand.

So my not running free truck with bald tires now sits proud to have an owner that shows some love, even if it's hard love from time to time.

Besides, if I want to go run the freeway at 140 in blissful comfort, I have the Galant for that. This is a truck.

They'll all be gone in a couple thousand years anyway.
