They make a clicking type of noise once in a while. It is not a grinding noise. Only does this when starting up cold and putting it in gear. That is the noise I am referring to.
pete, i have never heard it from my truck, but im always inside in that scenario so unless its not a real loud sound i wouldnt expect to hear it ill have to do some tests tomorrow with the doors open to see if i get the sound

It is really hard to describe and like I said before, it happens once in a while. My girlfriend has a 1998 Sebring and I can hear it on hers once in a while too. Does not affect the transmission as far as shifting goes while driving, just a peculiar noise when it happens.
