I'm surprised you don't have rubbing with 32s. My 31s (both on the 15" and 17" wheels) rub the frame at full lock.
When I get a chance I will take a video of them going to full lock both sides. Question, For the Torsion Bolts Are they all the way up and the TT is complete? When I look underneath I can see the threaded end of the bolts on top of the keys. I have dealt with Explorers on this and the D's are a little different.
That's the same place mine rub (and the back as well). I honestly wouldn't be worried about it. A won't change that anyway. A body lift would leave the frame in the same place and a suspension lift it actually going to bring the front tire in further since the control arms will go from being parallel to the ground at normal ride height to being at an angle (control arm would be the hypotenuse of a right triangle with an imaginary line running parallel to the ground and another running from the end of that line to the control arm pivot point at the frame).
Since sitting right had time to lift her. I did an add a leaf in the rear and cranked up on the torsion bars. I think she looks great. Ride is stiffer but does not bother me at all. I like how she looks and now wanting more lift 😁
here are some before and after pics.
Well it has been a few days that I have posted here. So far I have been super happy with my Durango. A little update about it. Replaced Upper A arms CVC Axles, rear springs, lift shackles and 3" keys. I am very happy with how she rides. I have taken her several times out on the trails and she has been great. Up coming some weekend I will have to tackle the heater core. I flushed it and still no heat at ALL. Already ordered one from Rock Auto and will replace it in a bit. Soon I will be getting new tires. I want to have 33" tires. Still debating on getting the 16 inch rims or keeping my 15 inch rims. Leaning more towards keeping my 15 inch rims. Yes I know they will run my Frame I will deal with that when it comes to it. So enough talking here is some updated Pictures.
Try and backflush the heater core, see if you get any flow thru it.
Does your Durango have a flow control valve on one of the heater lines???? If it does, make sure it is working......
I flushed it both ways and there was flow just fine BUT There was also a puddle on floor of passenger side. After flushing she would not even warm up a little bit and I have her running a while and there was NO heat at all. Not sure if water on Floor was from flush or me running the heater. So I jut figured get a new one and replace it.
