I'd go get a volt meter and test the voltage coming off of it is.
It seems to me that the alternator isn't charging and therefore it's shutting down that systems that draw the most power. I'm simply troubleshooting... LOL! I've seen it a few times before... perhaps it could be the same problem... ![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Hey rock is right,
I had this problem recently and he scared the crap out of me. The first thing that came on was the ABS and then the check engine, I then noticed the speedometer wasn't working at all. I took it to Aamco and they checked it out. At the same time I was reading in my hanes manual and what I was reading didn't match what they were saying. They said it was the output sensor which if I remember right, if you have a rwal (rear wheel anti-brakes) you don't have a output sensor. In fact you have a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) that sends a current to the main computer and that sends a signal to the speedometer. I saved a lot of money by just buying a new VSS, but I wasted a lot of time. I paid about $23 from (chryslerpartsdirect.com) or you can buy from any auto store. It's about the same price but from chryslerdirect you get chrysler parts. It easy to change.
The VSS is located on top of the rear diff. All you have to do is unscrew the bolts and pop out the old vss and put the new one in and screw everything back down and your done. Check out the hanes manual it explains how to do it.
