Default My new clutch feels great, but...

I need to adjust the cable a bit. Right now the clutch engages right at the floor, and i mean right there. I need get the engage point a 1/4 inch off the floor. Any suggestions on how to do that? I have the F1 racing clutch in my 98 neon sport.

You cant adjust the clutch. When mine was changed it was the same way. Just get use to it. I like it better then it catching further out. Get really nice launch's.

I don't mind it at all if it was engaging all the way. But i don't think it is... and i don't want to ruin my tranny and clutch.

you mean dis-engaging? Neon clutchs are non adjustable. It could be a bad, stretched, or faulty installed clutch cable.

My dad and i fixed it by accident last night. It must have been by moving the spring. The clutch feels great now and is working properly.
