Well I just heard from Hscrugby, who heard from Steve (Who is on vacation) that this release is not an Official release and should still be considered beta.

"712 was rejected by Chrysler.
It breaks the starscan tool when it has a mic and hooked up with certain cars"

So unfortunately we are back to waiting for the official release.

Installed fine for me as well. Going from 7.05 to this and I did not even need to pair my phone again. I had no problems with 7.05 and from a quick check, I see nothing new or added from it.

I really wish they would give the functionality to search for a POI Name in a City. For example, about 90% of the time I need to do something like, goto Coldstone in Arlington, VA. Typing the Name alone gives me a list that isn't even sorted by distance with 900 entries. If I use the find POI in City, then I can't type a name and I have no idea what POI Coldstone (and many others) are under. This makes it impossible to go somewhere specific without knowing the address first. I've gotten used to using google mobile on my phone, searching forthe place where I want to go, and then typing in the address.

Futil,

I just talked to Rick today at Harmond and he is sending me the "almost FINAL" disk 9.713. The only problem that they see with this update is that it is being rejected at the end of the line when they complete the electrical test. Everything works fine and this rejection has nothing to do with the actual software... it just dosen't want to OK the process in Final Car ( in the plant).
He was supposed to have it dropped off for me today at my inlaws in Livonia, but it didn't show up. If it's there tomorrow, I'll ask Rick if it's OK to send it on to you for posting. He was sending me about 6 copies... so it sounds like it's all a go except for the in plant rejection.
I believe he said that the 'FINAL" version will correct that problem and it will be called 9.716.

Hope this helps.
Goaler.

OK....maybe that's why he didn't send me 9.713.

Thanks, Jas
