Default I gotta ask....

Well after looking around I've noticed that several people around here have a 180 Stat. What are the benifits of this?

No, it's not under the radiator cap. Follow your top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. It is right under the thermostat housing that the hose is attached to.

mine was $8.00 at napa number 530080 but rember you need to take the gasket off the original and instal it on the aftermarket one. plus there is a notch you need to cut into it. but i beleive jet chips have them for sale complete for $35.00

I think summit has them also but they are up in the $40 range. Get the Napa one and cut the notch yourself.

So its on the bottom hose from the radiator? Or its on the engine where the bottom hose connects to it?
