alrighty boiz,
here we go.
working hard so limited pics as i go.
100_0706.jpg

im currently have the tanks bolted directly to my spare mount, i don't have the luxury of a welder so it'll work, once i pull the bed to do the bags i'll weld up some official brackets out of angle stock.

heres where my comps are going, nice and safe
Picture036.jpg

what air tanks sir?
Picture038.jpg

dak-1
drill bit-1
Picture035.jpg
this bit was never used when i started, broke my good one so i used this to do the last 4 holes, got a little hot on the final hole, it was glowing
i got the hole done though lol

i am hoping to have a fully functioning air system by the end of the week.
at least enough to run a hose off of. and no leaks

i hate cheap tools, just had to get a new cut-off since i trashed my old one,
and now i can't find any decent drill bits, the one im using to do the holes for the comps is dull and i didn't get 1 hole done with it

actually no, its only been in ohio 5-6 years,
texas before that

but yes, it will get a thorough grinding/undercoating after i get all the welding done, while the beds off, no point doing it now, when i'll just grind it off, then redo it a few times

you know, i dont understand how the underside of my truck looks so nice. i live in northern ohio and winters are pretty bad, but my truck basically looks like it did when it rolled out of the factory, the only thing i do is spray underneath every time i wash.
Anyway, are you going to fix that part of your truck thats all smashed in and paint it all the same color? Nice job so far, is that gonna be sitting on the ground when you're done?

yea, its gonna sit on the ground,

i've always washed my undercarridge weekly in winter esp.

i'll do the damage when i do all the rest of the body mods, next summer most likely.

UPDATE:
got the right comp bolted up, hooked to rear tank and filter installed/line run behind taillight. all is left is to wire it up

pics after the monsoon is done
