So you got voltage. It should also pulse while cranking. (signal wire.)

There are 3 wires i believe but yes one pulsed during cranking.

Yeah, 5 volt feed, sensor return, and ground.

So the cam sensor is doing it's job...... Is the PCM getting the clue though.... Can you test for signal AT the PCM?

Not sure how to properly test the PCM sorry.
Is there a particular wire(s) i can look for?

Check the sensor return wire for the cam sensor back at the pcm. Have to poke a probe into the wire...... (tape it up later.) Just checking to see if the signal is making it back that far.

Ok would that be a 5v test as well or 12v?

Ok no blinknig or pulsing during cranking at Cam censor, just solid light. Tested all 3 wires.

That would explain a lot. Seems like you have a short somewhere in the wiring for the cam sensor then. That should be just a joy to find.......
