Lol oh believe me i can't wait! My friends Dad said there are ways to bypass the main power source and tap into the harness to run the cam censor/injectors independently via toggle switchs. Any thoughts?

No need for that, as THAT side of the circuit is working. Its the return signal that is confusing the pcm. It EXPECTS that signal to switch, so it knows where in the firing order the engine is. If the signal doesn't switch, the PCM has no clue which injector to fire, so, it doesn't fire any of them......

Crap!, yeah that makes sense. He was thinking because the only component missing is gas, he could hard wire the injectors to a toggle.
if gas is sprayed down the throttle body it starts right up and will rev redline no problem. All the gauges, light's ect work fine.

What confuses me though, is the PCM SHOULD whine about the cam sensor, if the signal isn't switching, but, it IS seeing the requisite number of spikes from the crank sensor, that it SHOULD be switching........

Exactly, we cant figure out why there is power to the injectors and pulses when cranked but not activating the injectors..BUT if the injectors are hot wired directly they spray..BUT if the injectors are tapped into (Hot through the plug ins they again will not spray. Its like something in the harness for the injectors is cancelling out the power to the injectors even when full power is tapped in directly to the harness... Absolutely crazy!

You may have the correct voltage to the injectors.... but, the meter doesn't put much of a load on the circuit. It's *possible* that yeah, you have voltage, but, the connection simply isn't adequate to actually fire the injector. (circuit fails under load.) Could test that be feeding 12 volts from some other source to the injectors, and see if the engine actually starts and runs....

Yeah we tried tapping directly into the injector harness but didn't activate the injectors. Is there a place where the injector harness disconnects from the main harness? When we got the one injector to spray under direct power it actually tried to start.

They are all fed from the same source off the ASD relay, there is a splice in there somewhere, that separates out to go to each individual injector. Each injector has it's own wire to the pcm for the ground side of the circuit. (individually controlled.)

If you have a service manual, you can look it up, and it will tell you exactly where the splice is located. I only have diagrams for the full-sized trucks...... same basic system, but, not everything is in the same place....
