Default Slight advance at stop

I have a 01 dakota 3.9 2wd an it has a random forward advance or hesitation that only happens after sitting at a light after about 45 seconds. It never happens on short waits at lights an never in park.It isnt a everytime thing either.Ferls like truck want to move forward a tad.i replaced plugs distributor cap an rotor an the plug wires are new. I cleaned out the iac too an fuel trim readings are fine...went thru a few tanks of gas also..What else should I look at?is this a timing issue? Thanks

Timing is purely computer controlled. So, not user adjustable. Did you reset the computer after the maintenance?

I reset the ecm added some seafoam to tank an so far im not noticing it..I think the reset helped..Maybe that rotor that looked a bit worn an flimsy factored it too..Ill know after more sitting in traffic .I dont know if torque conv is a factor as your sitting at a light but am curious also on it.

Mine would do weird and strange things, but, it wasn't an engine problem, it was a trans problem.... dropping into neutral at stops, then BANGING into gear when I stepped on the gas, and various other annoying habits. Changing the trans electronics fixed mine....

Why , when it does do it, is it only after around 30 or 45 seconds? In drive fully stopped.
