Well like I said, they kinda just lined right up which was strange, I was able to get two bolts in but not the other two
I was going to ask how you bolted them together when only 2 bolts are accessible at any given time, and that requires both starter and oil filter removed.
That aside, I'm thinking you've got a crank counterweight lodged against something in the pan. Since the dipstick won't go in either, that tells me something in the 1/2 throw.
You'll need to pull the engine back out and drop the pan again. Did you have the timing cover off by chance?

Ok cool so it might be ok? I didn't want to mess anything up so I tried to keep it assembled as much as I could the timing cover stayed on
I too, suspect something is jammed in the oil pan area,...... But still, as you pull the engine, I would, at each step attempt to turn it. Its a long shop, but it may save you from pulling it completely out.
