Default Engine swap need help

Hello other members I'm new, I'm doing a 5.9 Dakota swap and I took it out of a ram 1500, 1998, the Dakota is a 98 technically. I swapped everything like the oil pan and pickup tube, as well as motor mounts but now the engine has completely locked up, I didn't get to start it in the Dakota but in the ram it was running just fine before I pulled it, still turned over before I pulled it, has anyone had this issue before? Cause it's stuck stuck. I have no idea what happened. I need help to see if I did something wrong

Take off the serpentine belt, check the engine again.

Wrong bolts in the torque converter? When swapping the pan nothing got wedge between the damper and pan? Pull plugs out, did the engine have a failed head gasket and now its hydro locked? engine sit on its side and fill with oil and now its hydro locked? Generally a hydro lock would let you rock the engine back n forth to some degree, multiple cylinders maybe not. Any situations where you pried a little to hard on something to line up. If manual vs auto did the the crank position sensor get smashed up behind the flywheel and lock things up.

No everything was left upright, all the bolts line up and went in, I used the same bolts that came out of it, everything went smoothly, I don't really get what happened it went from fine to not fine in seconds.

You had to be able to turn engine to get the flexplate bolts in..... can you grab the flexplate and move it either way? Anything you can see up in there jamming it up?

Well that's the cool thing, the flex plate and torque converter lined up first try, I tried moving the flex plate but it won't budge whatsoever. I have noticed the dipstick doesn't want to go all the way back in though.

Unbolt the torque converter. You should be able to push it back away from the flex plate a bit. Will it turn? Will the engine?

How did you first try to turn the engine.... by hand, or by starting it? If the latter, check if the starter pinion is locked onto the flywheel. If by hand, will it turn if you reverse it?
