What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

pulled the transmission from my '95 half ton. Dropped the pan first and didnt see anything out of the ordinary, clean fluid and only minor clutch material. I will bring it to work tomorrow and start tearing it down with one of the transmission guys.
I also worked on my 88 chevy some more, cleaned the wheels up, mounted new tires, changed the fuel pump module, and sanded and primered the hood for paint. Still needs another sanding and a couple more coats of primer before i shoot any base.

Got the transmission torn down and found everything to be perfect, nothing broken, nothing worn everything was spotless. Turns out the new torque converter i put in about 5 months ago went bad....WTF. Now i have to buy all the gaskets to put it back together and i am going to go ahead and replace the forward clutches cause they were a little burned. So what could have been a free fix, since the TC was under warranty, has turned into a $400 bill. The transmission tech is rebuilding it for me for $300 labor.

at least you can say the truck has a rebuilt transmission with only so many miles since it was rebuilt
. $400 is a fairly cheap rebuild.
i gave the ramcharger a bath and and cleaned a bit of garbage out of it. it is nice having it kind of clean. i also fixed the exhaust leak for the 3rd or 4th time. can't wait till summer gets here and i can hopefully permanently fix the leak.

SOLUX lights bulbs way way way way better. The install was tedious but once eveything was switched, I can actually see in the country at night now. The neoform wipers went on easy even with the extra little safety flap their attachment has...probably only 5 minute install max. Have to wait till its over 50 degrees for the galss treatment.
