Took out the main 3" exhaust pipe and replaced it w/ 2.5". Then me and few buddies went running through section lines filled w/ snow banks. No pics sorry fellas
Went and picked up my engine and trans (rebuildable cores..... 275.00) and while I was getting gas, discovered the trans connector was a three wire.... 46RH... Ooops. Waiting for a call-back from the guy I picked them up from.
Yesterday I removed the running boards so I could see what's going on for rust. To my suprize I only found one rust hole pass side rocker, all the cab corners are good . So two new fenders, one rocker, a box, two bumpers not bad at all. There was a small bit of rash so that was sanded down, treated and box liner painted, temp repair until the weather gets warmer. Without the running boards she looks a lot bigger and I can fit some big meats under the truck, so do I put them back on or leave them off. I was looking at off-road bumpers yesterday man oh man not cheap by any means.
I vote put them on, you've got the ground clearance to justify it!
My truck had nerf bars when I got it, took them off, truck looks taller without them. Same with the bumper valance too
I think you right I never drove it yesterday after taking them off, I have today twice.....this old man needs a step. I will keep them of until the body work is done then back on they go.
