In the last month or so:
Monroe Shocks at all four corners; new calipers/rotors/pads, wheel cylinders/shoes/drums, & hardware. SS brake lines to the rear. Bosch fuel pump. wiper blades, PCV. A/C still broken, steering still 'sloppy'. Runs/shifts good.

Wish there was room to get in there with a saw, or hammer.... That's part of the problem. (and why removing the intake may actually make the job easier...... just more time consuming.)
I have been soaking it with chems overnight, so, head out later, and see if it is feeling any more cooperative.

A friend new a guy that had an intake sitting on the shelf, for 25 bucks. Bought that, and swapped 'em out. The intake really needed to be resealed anyway..... I just didn't really want to do it RIGHT THEN..... BUt, it's back together, and moves down the road under it's own power again. Actually runs pretty good for 270,000 miles on the original engine and trans....... Of course, there isn't much body left...... (michigan winters took their toll.)
Started her up this morning after letting a can of sea foam soak over night in here intake and cylinders. Smoked out the neighborhood. But sadly Going to have to put this truck away for the winter. Expecting our first snow tomorrow and with it the salt. Have to get my other truck ready for the winter. 97 z71 . Its already suffering from the salt belt disease.
