What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
purchase a rebuilt cylinder head from odessa. I am looking at gaskets sets now. any recommendations? also is there any difference between the 5.2 and the 5.9 gaskets? cause i found a fel pro set that is what i wanted for $100 but it says for 5.2 only...

Added a leaf spring fom a donor pack to mine, I gained 1.25", was hoping for 2" but the truck sets pretty level now.
Also the ride is a lot nicer now, stiffer but not to stiff and handles corners better, noticably less body roll.

Holy s***, take it easy. I never actually put it on a dyno. Its just a estimate from the research I've done. But here is a noticeable difference in power. ( before I put my new wheels on I went for a test drive with the new CAI. Tires broke free far easier.) BTW I haven't figured out how to post pics on here yet.
nothing yet, going out soon to install the newly lengthened o2 sensor. need to save up some money somehow, so i can get it tuned... blah i just want to drive it. oh, and i also need to remove the cranks sensor AGAIN cause its faulty. gonna try to get my money back.
i cleaned out my 81 and put the new floor mats in it. it looks a lot nicer. i also hopefully refurbished a windshield washer fluid pump for my 81 since the stock one took a dump after 32 years. just have to hope it don't leak this time around.
well if it makes ya feel any better: hand calculating via trucks odometer = 14mpg, and the overhead lie-o-meter thinks its getting 20mpg...
I use the GPS odometer on my in-dash nav to hand calculate fuel economy as GPS doesn't care about tire size being bigger or smaller than stock.
