Don't you wish you knew someone that knows bodywork? (heehee....)

Yeah, yeah, yeah. TOOOOOOOOOO much rust on this thing to even think of fixing it "properly".

If there was a RROTM (Rust-bucket Ride Of The Month) I'd have a great chance at winning.

Took it for a quick spin around the block. Then took the car to the nearest town to get oil, oil filter, touch-up paint and other goodies.

I filled the bed with scrap... Came to the conclusion that it needs more lift.. I can throw a tractor in the bed without much issue..

Default 2009 Hemi runs rough after engine oil ran dry

Today my 2009 Dodge Ram (5.7L Hemi) ran out of engine oil, the light came on and the engine died. I filled engine oil and now it runs terrible and the doesnt maintain oil pressure. Now on an older truck i would condemn the crank bearings because of the lack of oil pressure but i assumed that a newer truck would have some kind of protection against this kind of thing from permanently damaging the engine incorporated into the programming in the ECM.

Does anyone know if there is a limp mode in this make/model/yr of dodge and how to get it out of limp mode if there is? Or is my engine in need of rebuild?

Welcome to DF! Yes, you are in the wrong section, this is the 2nd Gen Section, 1994-2001. You want the 4th Gen Section, 2009 and up
