fixed my PS leak. just the leaking hose so far though. haven't done the rest of it. still waiting on vacuum pump seal kit to come which will likely be next week, then I will replace the PS pump and the other 3 lines so hopefully after that my truck will actually have power steering from a dead stop and not be fighting the wheel to turn it

but at the very least, I'm not pissing out PS fluid every time I turn the wheel. (had a pinhole in the line that went from the hydroboost to the steering box)

 

Added new Horizontal Grill and some new grill lights. Not sure if I like the grill yet.Taking the plasti dip off the wheels,so the chrome grill matches the chrome rims.

 

Resealed that a few months back... also ruled out the heater core.

Once I can keep it dry, I have to lift the carpet and see how bad the floor pan is... I can see the seat frame starting to rust, and the jack and jack mount has started in earnest.

 

Washed and waxed the old girl then promptly went and bought a half yard of compost. Probably should have reversed the order on that one. Also ordered a new set of headlights. Lens fell off of one of the factory ones.

I took my truck out to the beach this weekend, where Brittany's parents own a beach house. I did a little beach driving, a few pics in the thread linked above.

 

cleaned the interior panels, cleaned up my wiring to the amp, threw away all the trash, organized my tools on the back seat. topped off my power steering fluid, coolant and trans fluid. found out where the leak is coming from on the pump res. discovered i have a coolant leak. what a head ach

 

+1 on reversing that order! That's the way I would have done it!

Changed out RAWL sensor, hoping to eliminate annoying occasional light on dash. Had it in tool box for quite a while.....

 

pretty much finished welding the drivers side floor up in my ramcharger today. also vacuumed it out as good as i could with all the tools that are in it. getting so close to having it done. just need to finish up the passenger side tomorrow and i am done for a while hopefully.

Wolfie I am enjoying reading about your rust repairing, and am impressed with your determination to fix up that old Ramcharger. Why that one specifically? Do you plan to hold on to it for a while?
