What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

I mean, to be honest, it's nicer than your other two.
Wolfie I am enjoying reading about your rust repairing, and am impressed with your determination to fix up that old Ramcharger. Why that one specifically? Do you plan to hold on to it for a while?
I want this ramcharger.

Gonna start on my truck soon. This will be fun. No where near being a mechanic but I've got you guys, so let's do this.
I have to change out my fuel pump because my sending unit is bad. So that's the 1st step. Doesn't seem like it will be that hard. Any suggestions on a good replacement? After that, I'm gonna check my plenum plate and see if it's aluminum or not. I'm hoping it needs changing (gives me something to do). Plus I heard it would also be a good time to change out my intake (K&N), plugs, wires, etc... Was thinking bout Davis Unified.
Not made of money so this will keep me going for a few weeks. I can also sand down my interior plastic and vinyl and prep it for paint. Any suggestions on the carpet in the door panels? Is it easy to either replace or dye?
Thanks for your time. Hope I didn't sound like too much of a newb.

Yesterday i put on a new starter and today I did a compression check. Here are my results test was done dry and with four cycles each cylinder:
1: 90
2: 128
3: 90
4: 123
5: 148 down
6: 125
7: 120 down
8: 120
Cylinder 5 and 7 leaked down at a decent speed after the last cycle
Truck has 185,000 miles and blue smoke comes out on startup. The oil is also pretty milky and has been in for only 30 miles.
What do you think is causing these numbers?

I'm gona put some new Odessa's on when I do my carb swap.
That should last until I can afford to build a 408(after college...and high school...)
