What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Could be a bad connection at the compressor. Mine was having an issue with that at one time.
How to handle washing if your wife won't wash your truck. The smart guys buy a color they don't like so you don't have to wash it. I'll wash my old 97 Laramie for the 1st time in 2 years as I prepare to sell it.
I wish it was that simple :/ Was pokin at it this morning and my neighbour whos a mopar mechanic asked what I was doin so I told him and he says he thinks the clutch isnt engaging the compressor? He said just replace the whole assembly. I dont understand HVAC in vehicles at all so im just gonna get a new compressor and try that

^I think on all V8 compressors it can be, but by the time you disassemble the compressor, it's usually about the same price to replace the compressor. But first, did you check system pressure? Check both pressure switches? If either switch went bad it will NOT let the compressor turn on. Also, try manually jumping the comp - if you hear the "click" noise its still good.
+1.. Not real easy and a couple special tools required. http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl249i.htm And that's if you can even find a replacement clutch.

Excellent, now add the price of the tools required. (if you can even find them)
