Also removed one of the spring perches.

Disk brake conversion?

I might just look into that today as these parts aren't cheap up here, $150 per drum my cost and $100 for shoes. Still on the hunt for used rims damn hard to find up here for the right price. Spring perches are all off and the new ones are ready to be welded on the diff tubes. I will be getting a pint of POR-15 on Monday to paint the rear diff, it better be worth it @ $50!!

Open Q: What would you ask for my old 44 and 9.25? Dl's and 4.56 all new steering, hubs, calipers, pads and so on.

Even though you arent asking me, I would be asking around $1000 for the set (at least). Even though they are 1/2 ton diffs they have some great parts in them and I am sure someone would pay that for them.

Op's are more than welcome

I was thinking $600 each so I am close. I think I will be hard pressed to get $500 each, not a lot of cash flow around these parts of late, and to ship these down into the US would not be smart cost wise, shipping costs are out of this world so I am learning.

my360 did want them at one point but I have not heard from him in some time, think I will pm him.

Edit: Maybe pull the DL's and gears sell parts instead of full diff's OP's?

What gears Merc, 4.56? I could be interested if you decide to go sell separately .

It would almost be cheaper to have someone in the states buy your parts, and ship them to them. I think I paid 25 bucks for shoes..... didn't need to replace my drums though.

Yes sir 4.56 gears. I am working on a list of parts I will have up for grabs. I will pm you soon with said list. I need 16 X 10 8 bolt rims so willing to trade, as soon as I find rims the diff swap will happen fast.

I know man, I priced out all my parts at Rockauto and you know just good old prices. So I called up Lordco yapped with my parts guy and let's just say I had that are you F'n kidding me look. The thing with getting them out of the states is would have to go through a friend for sure, getting parts from stores down there and then paying customs fee's is just nuts. My goal is to have this done by August 2nd long weekend so time is against me as well.

i didn't think there were customs fees on auto parts. just thought you had to pay taxes. do you live close enough to the border to drive your truck accross? might just be easier to drive the truck across the border, get the parts and do a brake job and then go home.
