Sorry it's taken me so long to get back. Not to bad thanks, semi retired from wrenching. Still messing with my trucks mind you.

Do you get to sample the merchandise, so that you can give an informed opinion of the quality at taste of the products?

Nice to see you around.

Ram got more attention today. The AC system leaked down - found a loose Schrader valve in the new low pressure line I installed a while back. It vacuumed down & held, so I recharged it and we'll see how that goes. The radio has been just randomly shutting off and turning back on which was caused by a bad ground so that should be good to go. Finally it got a long overdue bath.

I'm helping the boy move tomorrow so it's going to get a bit of a workout.

Home from our adventure in moving. We misjudged the size of trailer he needed and had to put some thought into loading everything. Between the truck, trailer, and two of the kiss's cars we got almost all of it. We'll have to make another run next Sunday afternoon with his chest freezer and whatever odds and ends are left.

As we were loading stuff, something caught my eye - dry rot on one of my son's tires. A quick inspection found it on all 4 tires, so as soon as we could get the cars unloaded at his new place, we went and dropped it off for new ones ASAP.

Truck ran fantastic, the AC about froze us out on the way home, and the radio stayed on the entire time. I need to work on tightening the right side mirror post. I don't have it tightened enough and the wind keeps pushing it in. The only real annoyance was the "super duty" fan clutch that never seems to disengage. I've got a new OEM spec clutch that I pulled out when I was having cooling issues that were due to the water pump. I may swap it back in to see how it does.

I need to go clean up the garage because the kid and I are doing his plugs & coils in an attempt to quell random misfire issues.

Just recently replaced the whole A/C system, or whatever's under the hood for that matter. Haven't had working A/C since 2018 but man it's nice to have again. Those "quick connect" pipes suck!

Yup, and you have to make sure they’re clean and well lubed when assembling, or you’ll have a slow system leak in your future.
