First fill up after installing LT's... it's initially looking like 1mpg improvement.
But like any add-on, the improvement (or decline) in performance is a result of the combination of components, not just the one changed.
Still, I'll take it.

Finally seafoamed it. Smoked like a bastard, so I'm guessing it will help a bit Also noticed the tranny slipping in 2nd gear, all others are fine to my knowledge. Time to take it easy on it until Spring.

Better try adjusting your bands, if that doesn't help you can put in a slip-in band. If it's slipping, you're not gonna make it till spring. Wont be long at all before you don't have 2nd gear.

Finally found a good air cleaner outer housing to replace the cut up original and dryer hose the PO had on there. Flashed back to the 87 tune to offset the crappy winter blend fuels.

Went looking for it..... seems to be a snowbank where my truck is usually parked.

We were only supposed to get like 4". I think we had that by 10:00AM. It hasn't stopped yet. Daughters care is on driveway duty for the foreseeable future methinks. 2 foot drifts, and we live on a dirt road, that don't get cleared regularly.
