Well I put on my fabtech trackbar back on my truck. Had it tig welded and took it offroad and it seems to be doing very fine. Hopefully the other adjustment piece on the lower part of the track bar wont break.

Quote: My wifes mom lives in summerville, sc.. and I have family in greenvile, sc. So I have places I can stay when it comes time to get a new truck. Was finding 6 spd cummins for under 10k! Only obstacle I need to get around is getting it registered to drive it home.
Quote: ^ Your in laws could check into it for you but in Virginia you can get Trip Permits to drive from one location to another without having it registered, etc..

Some people I know did that with a car they bought in Va before they moved to Ga....
Don't register where purchased if out of state, ask about transit tags. Register in home state (and pay sales tax...).

I'm not sure about out of state but I know that a purchase from a different county other than yours would require you to pay their particular sales tax.

I'm almost sure the sales tax would be applicable for the area that is was purchased. The registration tax, I don't know.

I threw the center caps from my 2nd Gen on e-Bay last week with an opening price of $10. On Friday, I received this ridiculous e-mail from another e-Bay member (note my response):

Quote:
Dear vwanddodge,

Hi I'll offer 10$ for center caps as long as they fit a standered dodge 16' rim

- 79l82corvette

Dear 79l82corvette,Your question appears to be answered by the auction description and title. It's up to you to verify fitment based on the measurements provided.

Good luck with your bid.

- vwanddodge

The caps are up to $23.50 with a little over an hour remaining for the auction. I had no idea the center caps were in such demand. Oh well, just more money for me.

Oh yea man! I was able to get an extra $100 on because all my caps were in perfect condition when I sold the rims. All in all, I got the 08 17"s with good meat on the tires for $300. I sold my set with barely any meat on the tires for $400 lol those caps will soon be priceless!!!
