Need another intake? I happen to have a spare. Shipping would hurt though....

I think I can make it work. If not I'll use the one off my 5.2.

Ran the 98 out of town via interstate on an errand. Although it's been awhile, cruise still works and overdrive is quite functional. The difference in the function now, when it shifts into OD, it drops to 1200 RPMS. K.

The all mighty cummins didn't want to start last night?!

Turned the key to on and everything came on as usual, pushed the clutch in and turned to start, and nothing! not a click or a tick or a crank.

but I fixed it...

stupid starter solenoid fuse blew. swapped it out and it fired right up.

Glad I keep spare fuses in the center console. wasn't exactly the correct fuse, but it worked in a pinch..

supposed to have a 20A fuse in there... all I had in my center console was 10A and 15A fuses. gonna need to swing by the local parts store today and pick up some 20A fuses.

The way it's supposed to be.

Got this '77 F150 for free, no engine. I am going to use the front axle in my jeep, stash the 4spd and 205, and part out the rest. I also am waiting on paperwork to come through for a '69 F100 390 auto that the same guy is giving me for free. On top of that he threw in a 460 long block out of a speed boat that was straight nasty powerful before it spun a bearing. Not a Ford guy, but I am a free-stuff-that-I-can-make-money-off-of guy.

Oh and the ol' 12v hauled it without complaint, I am impressed with how well it did.

Are you planning on keep the axle full width or cut it down to be close to stock width? I have all the measurements of how much you need to cut off each side to make a D44 Waggy width so you can use off the shelf axles instead of having to get custom axles made. Let me know as it is what I did with the front axle in my Jeep. And just in case you didn't know Waggy width is 61" and a TJ/XJ is 60".

I will never understand how you get all this stuff for free or dirt cheap. What do they put in the water over there? Lol
