The owner's manual says something to that effect IIRC

That makes sense. Nobody with a vehicle older than like 5 years has A/C anymore in Canada Only need A/C for 6 months of the year.

dyno'ed again on Saturday during our dyno day.

we had a good turnout

about 40+ trucks showed up and about 30 or so ran on the rollers.

We started at 9am and didn't get out of there till about 5:30pm

fords chebbys and dodges. all diesels.

everyone had low numbers this year. They recently "recalibrated" the dyno and I noticed that the load cell wasn't working well at all this year as 12,500lbs load was less than 10k load last year... and most trucks suffered because of that. marks old first gen twin turbo that did 410hp last year did 380hp this year.

twin turbo common rail that did 630hp last year did 575 or so this year...

mine did 576 last year and 523 this year...

though we did have a duramax with huge twins and twin cp3 pumps run and break 1000hp on the rollers. great sleeper truck as well. looked absolutely bone stock from the outside. Stock looking exhaust, stock height, stock wheels and tires, etc. Nothing to indicate the monster sleeping under the hood.

Wrapped up bids for road armor on one of my Rams. Testing 89 octane in the 98 Ram (about switched over and running good). I parked my diesel preparing to buy a few items out of the garden center at Wally world, and a lady doing the same waved at me to shut the truck off while she was talking to someone on the cell phone. I moved and finished letting her idle until it dropped about 10 degrees (2 minutes).

^Jigs, interesting feed back on dyno day. So was the sleeper a Dodge? K.

11 hour work day got home around sun down, put on my four tie rod ends and stabiliser with a flashlight in the dark. Stearing feels alot better, now I just need an alignment. I'm exhausted.

Tincan the sleeper truck was an LBZ Duramax. Total grandpa truck nobody even noticed it. I was long gone by the time it ran unfortunately. Had to work.

nope, just a nearly 1100hp duramax hiding inside a stock chevy body.

most of these other guys are modded inside and out in one way or another, even if its something subtle like exhaust...not this duramax... even exhaust was the stock tailpipe. Dunno if he modded the rest of the exhaust that you can't see, but the tailpipe was definitely the stock one.
