I felt confident I had the 98 ready for winter, until after working it hard and the brakes began sounding off, (just been 18 months). So I actually scheduled with our "new" dealership in town for brakes on the 98. The last Chrysler dealer was reasonable. K.

Going to the DEALER for a brake job?? Seriously??? This is something you could do in your driveway in an hour or so. Depending on how thorough you wanted to get...... At least your rotors are easily replaceable..... (unlike those on my 2500, which are staked to the BACK side of the hub/bearing assembly.....)

Sometimes you don't have an hour. Or you might not feel like getting on your driveway, especially up in the cold North

Moved it. Gonna get wood with it on Thursday, see how much I can get the suspension to bow haha

^^I had surgery on the left arm to save 60% use of the left hand (my grip is severely affected and full extension is a regular fireworks show). The right's a champ though.

Otherwise I'd agree with you. I also know my new dealer, (at least the local guy in charge). K.

Edit: Below reminds me to get some rainex

Yeah, I suppose working outside this time of year does kinda suck. Especially in the dark....

I simply can't afford to pay dealer prices for just about anything.

currently looking for a stubby 15mm so i can tighten up my transfer case nuts..... not much room to work down there....

4Lo with these 4.10s is ridiculous.

I couldnt imagine with something that is actually deep... like WNs setup or a serious off roading box.

Had my front axle seal replaced( driver side seal) the shop said it'd take a couple more hours to do the passenger side so they didn't do it. Guess he said the seals looked good but the axle tubes were full of rocks and gravel so they cleaned those out good. Everything else on the axle looked good..$512 for my bill. I replaced my wiper blades and changed wiper fluid for winter too.
