I really like those old Gm's. Looked at a few before getting my truck. Would love to have a reg cab long box srw 4x4 k30 one day. Maybe put a 6.0 ls or a 4 or 6bt cummins in it.

There were these two projects as well. CAUTION CHEVY PHOTO"S BELOW. Both have been sold.
Awesome pics and awesome work my friend. That cab mount you replaced looks real good, still mind boggled its got that auto panel epoxy holding it together! I like those small LED's you have for fogs, they look good.

The chevys are also looking pretty good man, and you don't hear that outa me too often.

Yeah so do I and so easy and cheap to build. I seem to be able to find fairly rust free ones. I clean them up make them run perfect and they go for good coin.

Thanks Johnn123, been a busy summer and yes that adhesive is just amazing. The small Led's work great for what they are meant for and I can use them on the road as they are classed as a fog/driving light.

I take that as a big comp coming from you! Thanks bud

I still cant believe its an adhesive. Seriously boggles my mind we can "glue" essentially new panels on... They look wicked where they are, good they function just as well! Ill have to look em up.

No complaints. Still getting about 15mpg (could be better) with the speedo on 70/75 most of the time, which is more like 75/80 since my tires are a bit bigger then stock.....

Transmission seems to be ok, little "flare" or whatever it is hasn't gotten any worse (or better).

Gonna be tire time soon.

I washed ye ol truck yesterday. I finally had some free time when it was above freezing, and not raining... washed all that green crap off of it, and the soot buildup on the rear fender.

Came close to flipping it.....

Was coming home from work, it's been raining all morning so the roads were wet but no standing water on the ground, was coming off of the Fairfax County Parkway onto Lee Jackson Highway, mid way through the turn I put on the defroster and heard a funny noise, next thing I know the rear end is trying to pass me, the slide was smooth but the stop was anything but...

Ended up facing traffic on an exit ramp, luckily there wasn't anyone behind me. Got out and checked to see if I had a flat or something, bout the time I went to get back facing the right direction a car came by...

No idea what happened, almost 50* so there shouldn't be any black ice, not sure if I just hit a spot of water and hydroplaned the rear or what.

Tires are solid..... Strange. Butt pucker moment.
