Not going to get any easier than it is right now.... Make sure you have vacuum to the controls first...... that line is fun to run with the dash in place.

Yeah, my vent selector switch has some play in the back.
The dash is all back together now, but I feel like now that I've done it I could probably tear it out in an hour or so. Til I replace the dash top.

Well, if its already got holes, that makes it easier to work under it.

purchased and replaced the quad door cable that goes from latch to latch. the plastic end breaks from wear. scored electric door/window switches for both doors as spares. got all parts from salvage yard at good prices.

Picked up a Fabtech spare tire mount at a garage sale today for $25(yes I stop by garage sales on the clock ) and got it installed after work

As an extra plus, I get to say I don't have room to pick up material now

I think it's easier now to say it has a few pieces left. Too few to do a cover. Guess I'll have to buy a dash at some point, probably the LMC part.

Yeah, the Geno's and LMC parts are pretty equally priced, if you figure in having to paint the Geno's part. It's like 300 delivered and 311 for LMC.

Unless there's some promo code for either, or both, I don't know about.

Figured the ps pump was tired so replaced it with a reman Napa pump, no improvement in power assist. So let me get this straight:

-thuren track bar
-HD steering
-Spohn DSS
-Redhead box
-new pump/fluid

.....and still won't steer properly. Ugh.
